- He recovered from knee and brain surgery, never complaining, and remaining cheerful and up-beat.
- He worked hard his whole life. Even at 79 years old he is still working, giving drivers training tests (Its not dangerous. These kids are already driving with their parents for a few months. My dad drives safe places with them, and gives them all very straight forward exams).
- He raised 5 kids, without ever really freaking out. You have to endure a lot of stuff to do that, and he did it with great strength.
